Vaseline will melt and go away almost instantly when oil starts flowing...trying to wash away good quality grease with oil will take a while.
Grease in an automatic gearbox... it will shift like shit for a week until the grease is gone from the valves...been there done that .
So pour oil down the sender hole is sufficient?
