Default Re: Door hinge help

I bought the tool and tried to use on my 40. It bent the tool and broke one of the pins within minutes of first use and that was with heat. My door hinge was sitting for years without use though. I had to heat and spray with 50/50 trans fluid acetone mix and allow to soak. I did this once a day for 3 days. The third day while it was still hot I used a small long drift a little bigger than a nail set and drove it out manually. I returned the tool to Mac's and decided to order one from Drakes thinking I might get better quality and it looks almost identical and have yet to try. Good luck and be patient
