A few years back when looking for the small window/door security devices, I remember a product that you plugged into an outlet and it gave off a signal that claimed to keep rodents, ect. out of that signal area. It may work on our feathered friends as well.
The problem on my street are the cats, you know how they like to "spray". Cat urine is the most vile smell in the summer sun, on your white walls.
