Mike,
I FAINTLY remember when we had the PIZAAAAZ TO DO A JOB LIKE THAT, AT THE DROP OF A HAT!!
NOW, it's a week & 6 days to do the same job---"I don't recomember them 2 front pan bolts being SO difficult"
A few years ago, I was adjusting Minervas' brakes for a 200 mile round trip to Hollister, Ca. Discovered that the front brake rod clevices were only on the rods, about 2, (YES,TWO) threads!
"SOMEONE" had installed those old Sure-Stop Brake Equalizers & had NOT shortened the brake operating pins, by 5/16"!!! I TOOK MY TRUCK INSTEAD!
Later, I set them up PROPERLY & they worked quite well. Sacramento Vintage still sold them & was kind enough to E-Mail a copy of the proper installation instructions. They're FIVE STAR FOLKS *****!
