Speedway distributer

Has anybody in Fordbarn land used the Speedway electronic distributer on 42 to 48 Flatheads. (part # 9108352). If so, what coil did you use? Speedway tech is recommending a 6 V0lt positive ground...

Single plane, both barrels of the carb feed all cylinders. Duel plane has a divider in the manifold so that one barrel of the carb feeds 4 cylinders and the other barrel feeds the other cylinders

A real long shot. Check your intake manifold to make sure that the wall between the heat riser port and the adjacent intake ports is not burnt through.

I fabbed up a pedal ass'y and used used a mid 60's duel chamber master and booster. I converted to a Disc/drum system. Make sure you specify a drum/drum or a disc/drum master...

A T5 overdrive trans and a rear gear from 3.7 to 3.9 will get you in the ball park. Aim for about 2250 rpm at 60 mph. Hope you have converted to Hydraulic brakes.

1CM is 1951 Mercury, 255 cu in and 6.8 to 1 comp ratio. Canadian engine would have C1CM which is same head
