sanded the contacts and adjusted both sides of the points and its running great. the driver side point wasnt even coming open before. Thanks for your help

Well i know the wires are not the problem b.c i switched them around and still got the same thing.. I did find the problem though when i took off the distributor.There is no breaker Gap on the right...

yes i ohmed it out and got a reading on each wire no open lines.

Will a crab style cap work on the 59ab? I thought I might would try changing the wires out first to make sure its not a big issue

The cap is new and i did look at it but nothing looked out of wack. i didnt check to see if the button was loose. dern helmet head is aggrevating .

Well i tightened up the line hopefully the air intrusion is fixed. I found my issue. number 6 plug isnt getting proper fire and number 8 isnt firing at all. The distributor is only a few months old....

Well I found A spot at the tank that is leaking. Its leaking around the fitting on the line going to fuel pump. The car runs 88% better with the air filter off then on and thats what has me puzzled.

Its always had burst of air in the fuel bowl but it has since slowed down

59ab Help
Well I am having some issues with my 47. In the last week it has gotten where it spits and sputters going down the road. I dont know which way to turn with it. I changed plugs and that didnt help...
