39 PU parking brake

i need to find a hand brake for my 39 pickup, bolts to the dash and firewall.

does anyone know if there are other models that will work or do i need one specific to a 39 PU.

i just did mine last week, wouldn't budge with a 8 lb sledge, put heat on the axle and got them started with the 8 pounder then finished with a 4 lb, it wasn't bad but you need heat or a proper puller

this post made me take a closer look at my 39 cab, my passenger door has 1/8 to 3/16 max gap and the drivers door is 1/4 to 5/16 gap front and back. huge difference and no sign of any major wrecks,...

thanks a bunch, now i know it' me that screwed up and not the parts house, i thought i had 2 rights so i ordered a new left now i have 3 lefts. great!

first, the spring shackles pictured were in the rear of my 39 pickup, anybody know where i might get a similar set for the front axle?

hey guys, could someone tell me the distance from the top of the rear axle to the frame on a assembled vehicle, my pickup is unassembled and i'm trying to get measurements for shocks.
