Ok now in the light of day there where 2 screws on the inside of the dash rail and it popped off making it easy to get to the bolt heads....Thanks barners and sorry again if I offended anyone with my...

well I thought they held the dash on....Ill look again but the screws are out of the dash rail and its not budging

I had to heat bend one of my wrench's and still cant get it to break loose.
I dont want to heat them as its right next to the gas tank

why did he put all those bolts in the dash rail..... I dont know if anyone has had the pleasure of the nuts rusting up on the little area between the dash and where the window seats but it...

well Im ordering alot of stuff to get my body mounted to the frame and other odds and ends to make sure the gaps on everything are good.... question is alot of this stuff Im not sure where it goes...

thank you I think thats it I didnt acount for that and the timing was off some.....also my rotor bug(not sure the names right) but the plastic piece was broken and it was allowing it to scip around

Ok thanks guys I now have the cam out and pulled the oil pump(wow did it have a bunch of crap in it when I pulled it) and tonight Im pulling the gear and off to the hot tank it goes.....thanks again...

yep ron I have a batch mixed always....thats how I got this flathead tore down.....wish I could get a 50 gallon drum of the 50/50 mix and soak the hole engine

Ok how do I get the cam out.... pulled yje back cover and theres 2 gears do I have to pull one.....also the oil pump isnt budging so theres got to be a trick to getting it out of there

I used a oil can squirter and yes some drained down the exhaust but alot made it to the cylenders and it broke free using the crank tool on the front..... also Ive heard you can push it with the...
