Interesting discussion.... years ago I tried to talk Moog into producing proper king pin pinch bolts....they agreed with me that the design is improper but would not manufacture proper pins.... ...

Using starting fluid can crack a piston or water will do it too.... what has happened is that at one time too much pressure was developed....in the ole days we used a fine spray of water to decarbon...

Sleeves are great ! they are made out of cast iron and if installed properly they are as good as a new cylinder... there is no problem with heat conduction as the sleeves are installed really...

The Toyota RAV-4 electric has 16" tires with really tall sidewalls ...and not super wide tread...radial and not too expensive... almost a balloon tire look..handles great and makes no tire...

Sure it will work on your 46 coupe...but that does not have Model A wires...and the rim on your 46 is almost flat...the A has a huge setback in the rim...

I have had disk brakes on my roadster for years....with no vacuum assist..and I would not want one...it stops easy and quickly...works fine...there are some tricks though...

Strange jet on bottom of B carburetor

I have a B carburetor and it has a strange jet on the bottom of the lower bowl.... it has a brass fitting with a needle style adjustable jet sticking thru it...... any ideas as to what it is for...

Several members have told me that FedEX will haul the wheels and tires...so if needed I will tape them together and deliver them to the nearest FedEX

I have 4 new Firestone White Wall 21" tires, mounted with liners and fresh tubes mounted on painted wheels with hubcaps... 2 of the wheels have welded cracks, 2 are fine... These tires have less...

Yes you must have eye protection...I have a aviators leather helmet and goggles that I wear....really gives you the sports car feel.

I always use new exhaust valves when I do an engine, intake valves run much cooler but you need all the margin you can get with exhaust valves. I really do recommend the Fel-Pro brand of head...

I once tried keroscene and it would run on it...would not start using it but once is was running and warmed up it...
