Not a rebuilt flathead, thanks for the reassurance that the pressure is ok. I soldered the fitting and drilled a hole to spec. Not a lot of difference in pressure, a few lbs. better. Hard to say...

itstom- I too took my left chatter rod off my 1941 to fit Fentons and others on this site acted like I was crazy. They said they wouldn't even run the car like that, but I have had no problems. ...

I have a 1941 flathead. Where is my restrictor supposed to be located? On the inlet or outlet? There are two 1/4" taps coming off of the block one goes to the sender the other to the oil canister....

It would be impossible to run the driver's side ant-chatter rod. That aftermarket one looks like the ticket, but I'm most likely switching to an open drive line, when I get a different transmission,...
