clutch adjustment

Hi, new to the site i have a 1941 1-ton the clutch grinds getting it into 2nd gear and when you've stopped with clutch in, and in gear it whats to keep going forward, i know about the adjusting arm...

1941 1-ton truck how do you adjust the clutch? engages way to early grinds trying to get it into 1st,and whats to creep ahead even in neutral, i know about the adjusting arm fork but do you turn it...
