Re: Steering column 29 A

Whichever way you decide to go, Les Pearson's book The Complete Model A Ford Restoration Manual has an excellent description of how to disassemble the steering column.
I am also in the steering...

Re: Sold my '29 PU

I hate to see it go to CT.:([/QUOTE]

I'm happy to see it go to CT as I live there and hope to see it at the local meets. It sure looks good in pictures and I'm sure it will look better in person....

Re: Intnl Model A Ford Day 2014

I prefer black, but all black is too much black. The accent should be done with pinstripe and/or reveals. Just my opinion.

If you look at any Town Sedans with the Andalusite Blue body with Niagara Blue Light reveals, it looks like turquoise.

Re: Which Wood Would You Use?

Great looking truck.
I'm sure whatever you use will look good.
I just wanted to add that if Henry had used Ipe, it would still be as good as new today. How many woods can say that they are fire...

Re: The Most Interesting Ford Dealership Photo Ever Seen?

What a great picture.
Anyone know the year of the truck that is doing all the work in the picture. Looks like the front tires are about to give up. I would say that this picture is worth a lot more...

Re: Rust Removal

A while back I started a thread called "The time between stripping and painting"

Re: Problem with electrolysis

I agree with ford3. Molasses works great and removes ONLY the rust. You already have the tank and the water all you need is the molasses. Easy to get from a restaurant supply company. I never would...

Smile Re: Model T&A era only Car Show in CT

We look forward to the event.

We can't bring the car this year as it is disassembled for restoration, but we will bring our enthusiasm for the As and Ts. Always a good show.

See you there. :)

Nice old film. Lots of fun. I noticed a few Sealed beam headlights.
