Re: Front bumper differences
'AR' term was never used on bumpers.
The open end bar is A-17757 which was basically a superseded Model-T part number. This is what is commonly referred to as the open end bumper.

Re: Kick panels
Then do it. Cut several pieces of cardboard and trim them to fit the Sill, the Sill Extension, and around the bottom side of the tank. Then tape them together and there is your pattern.

Re: Opinion Re Differential Gear Ratio
Bob, I think with the right camshaft and engine package, a 3.27 will be just fine. I have installed both 3.54 and 3.27 gear sets in customer's vehicles. The biggest thing I think that dictates...

Re: KRW Combination Machine
That is likely. It is likely because that machine shop realized that rebuilding Model-T/A/B engines is not as profitable as doing other tasks in their machine shop.
In my own shop where we do...

Re: Jazz Age '28 Sport Coupe on Hemmings Auction
While I understand your point, consider how many 32 - 34 Fords are running around with unprotected tanks behind the body. Surely most would agree that the rear bumper on those too is merely a...
