Re: I have a question

This is a common complaint of new owners of WW2 and early civilian Jeeps, also. The seats are not adjustable, and the steering wheel is close to the seat. Guys end up selling a vehicle they really...

Re: I have a question

If you had collected WW1 and WW2 uniforms and militaria like I did for many years, you would have soon noticed how small men were then-the vast majority of uniforms that were actually worn seem to be...

Re: Using origonal nuts and bolts

I was at a swap meet a few years back, where a guy was selling bags of random Model A nuts and bolts for a few bucks-very, very useful to have. Using new lock washers is good, but does anyone make...

Re: How do you move a T with a stuck engine and stuck transmission bands and or brake

You really NEED the original-type wheel puller when removing the rear wheels. It screws onto the fine threads of the outer surface of the hub, and the center bolt pushes against the axle. With...

Re: Rusty fuel tank.

I'll be sending my tank to Brent for that treatment sooner or later, when I get around to pulling it out of my truck. It's a late '31 tank, and that horizontal outlet fills up right away with...

Re: Help Water Pump.

I also vote for this-Takes all the end play out of the pump, and is hidden by the fan. Give this a try before you do anything else.

Re: Model A Huckster Group

That's how my mother remembered a huckster that was in our small town back in the '30s and '40s-the body was green, like this one.

Re: Throwing Out Good Model A Parts

I've got a pole barn with shelves groaning under the weight of Model A, T, Jeep, and motorcycle parts. I know what will happen to that stuff when I'm gone-my son will have an auction, and a bunch of...

Getting a title in Michigan

I know the process for getting a title in Michigan, but my problem is the appraisal to establish the value of the vehicle-the cutoff point is $2500, where a surety bond is required above that figure....
