Re: 1932 potential buy

`32 Ford late vs early features
Did all the "early" roadster doors have three side curtain snaps along the top of the door? Or did some of the early doors transition to the two snap style, same as the "later" doors. By "early"...

Re: Brake Residual Valves
I wonder why we think a residue pressure valve is needed ? I don't think the stock `40 Ford hydraulics used them.
you will need to reduce from the 1/4" Ford brake line to go into the 3/16" fittings...

Re: Glass Packs
22" Smithy's from Speedway. I think they were their first product they sold back in 1952,
and I think they are still "made in America". At $ 40.00 each you can't beat the price. I just put a pair...

Re: 32 rear spring
I have four `32 frames, that all have the kick up over the rear axle bashed in and swelled out by the rear axles bottoming out against them. This I would assume was caused with the stock springs in...

Re: Binding spindles on axle
Like Andy said, on `28 - `36 spindles " The tapered pin that goes thru the axle does in fact support the car entirely" Some years ago when I realized that, it seemed like a bad engineering design,...

Re: Torque tube seal-need a quick fix
Are you sure it's rear axle lube getting in the trans. ? That's a long way for lube to run uphill to get in the trans. I thought that front torque tube seal, just behind the speedo gear, was there...
