Re: Contact info for Bill Barlow

A real shame that Bill is not providing this service anymore. I am in denial hoping it is not true.

Re: Float-A-Motor mounts

Just make sure you properly install the rear transmission mount. I think this is key to stopping the engine movement issues Brent refers to above.

Re: 6 volt signal flasher with beeper

If you can find a 6v relay you can set the buzzer up so it doesn't buzz when your foot is in the brake pedal. That way you don't have to listen to it when you are approaching an intersection or...

Re: New Type Oil Pan Gasket Installation - Thanks Marco

I just wanted to update this post. I had been fighting an oil leak coming from the back of my oil pan for a couple of years and tried various gaskets and installation techniques to no avail.

I...

Re: Centrifugal Advance

Re: Bert's Model A store

Steve and Phil offer incredible customer service. If you or they make a mistake or screw up (which I do regularly) they just happily fix it. The experience has been so good I find myself looking for...

Re: Which whitewalls?

I have Lester w/w on my car. They are a little wider than a firestone or goodyear and there is more whitewall. They ride very nice and I use dynabeads. I get compliments all the time.

However,...

Re: Speedometer Question

Mine dd that. I loosened off the coupler where it screws into the speedometer housing. My theory is that the cable was too long. I have a mitchel overdrive so it is a different setup. However, it...

Re: Leaking rear main, but coolant too??

It's amazing where the coolant will migrate from. I had a small leak from my water pump which you could barely see. The antifreeze ran down onto the lip of the head gasket. From the front of the...

Re: Identify original headlight reflectors?

My guess is if they had been silvered they were probably "orginals" NOS or NORS. The repros you get now are chrome plated.

Have a look at Marco's site. ...
