I replaced both steering arms and the pittman arm, replaced with the teflon bushings,new springs and end caps, and rubber dust boots. I pre- lubed the balls with regular basic grease for ball joints....

I just replaced the Pittman arm, steering arms, springs and teflon bushings and also the tie rod. I did not need to do anything to the backing plate. With the drag link off I think the wheels turn...
