Yes,there is a good reason to use replacement wheels. This car is a Crestliner and has full cover hubcaps. The use of original wheels with radial tires will not keep the caps on.

I have been told that some Ford Bronco wheels work well for this. What year
Bronco have these wheels and is the rim width and other specs the same as the 50? Thanks

39 pedal template

At one time I had a template to show drill hole locations for installing 39 pedals in a 35 frame. I can not find it now. Can any one help? Thanks

Radial tires and new wheels

I wish to put radial tires and new stock type wheels on my 50 Crestliner.
Do any of you have any suggestions where to buy the wheels? I want to use Diamonback ww tires.

What has me confused is the shop manual shows a picture of the back of the dash showing the two fuses and the circuit breaker mounted just above the ignition switch. I have a friend who has two 50's...
