Well i pulled the motor will look for the retainer to when i go back together with it it will make it easier if i can take that middle shaft out.

No it just has the rear end tube than a cross member than another tube and the cross member that bolts to the back of the trans.

I have a 36 1 ton with v8 and 4 speed. is it faster to pull the motor or move the rear-end and cross member to change the clutch?

I got it figured out the windshield wipers need to come off so you can unscrew the cowl panel than the screws for the molding are accessible.

the battery can show 6+ volts but once you put a load on it it will show a lower volt if the battery still needs charging or if its bad.

so A rebuilt motor cost $3000 and a good running motor is only worth $200-$300? to add a little info here I bought the motor a few years ago and cleaned it pulled the pan cleaned it and the oil pump...
