1965 fairlane

i have a nos left front fender for a 1965 fairlane 2 door or coupe. never been mounted. came from obsolete ford 30 years ago. been in my attic since. also have a complete console for the coupe.

sure sounds like the ground is bad---but---some of these old headlite switches had a fuse on top of the switch, maybe??

i have 7,50x20's on mine. sitting on 6.50 rims. no issues. split rings off an old milk tanker. stay away from widow makers.

if you are just storing these-- you might want to consider using pam cooking spray or crisco grease. might sound far fetched, but, it works!

john, judging by your pics, it appears the wiring in your car is old/original? might be a good idea to chase thru the whole system before your trip. could save a headache on the road. just a thought.
