Re: trailering model A

8X20 enclosed works for me (29 P/U or 29 Tudor); I can squeeze in and out just fine. You probably don't need the extra length, but it my case, that's where I keep my wife on long trips. :D

Before...

No Trunk Will Travel?

Sorry for the (perhaps) misleading title.

My question is: Where were the jack, jack handle, tools, etc stored in a 29 Tudor when the car was not equipped with a trunk?

Hub cap question

The hub caps on a recently purchased Tudor seems to be lacking as to the way they are secured to the wheels. It seems someone has simply bent the ears on the hub cap (spread them open) and then...

Re: Carb Adjust Question

Tom, I have a 2 tooth box. I'll look at what you suggest, but I guess if worse comes to worse, I'll have to sacrifice a fully opening throttle for a proper idle speed.

Thanks

Carb Adjust Question

I was not happy with the top speed of a recently purchased Tudor, so I started going over the engine hoping to find something obvious. In doing so I discovered that the throttle linkage (between the...

Re: Looking for a running sedan

Buy one that's already done, though not necessarily 100% original. A sharp driver. Its cheaper, and you will still find plenty to do on it. Expect to pay $10-16,000, if you shop smart.

Re: Steering Gear Assembly Question

If you have a grease fitting on the box, how do you fill same without blowing seals? I guess I should pull the fitting and try to see what's in the box now; 600w oil or grease.

Re: this is not good

I'm going through the same issue with my 29 P/U. Did you blow any water out of the tail pipe when you started up? That's a sure sign of water getting into a cylinder.

Pressure from a running...

Thank you all.

If I am looking for a replacement axle, what shall I look for? Are all axles (except AA) the same? Are they stamped for identification?
