Re: Speedway 9 super 7 carb.

Carbs

I'm trying to find a pair of Model T carbs. I'm just looking for a match pair that are rebuildable and don't cost an arm and a leg.

Re: What is the best carburetor for the Model A

Re: The Perfect Patina ?

Little too much for me to say perfect. Perfect for me is original paint with wear marks on the window edge from some dudes arm resting and all the wear around the hood hinges and door edges. That...

Re: Building a holley tri carb set up

I agree with Ol' Ron here, Ive seen many cylinders washed from guys putting too much fuel to a stock motor just for looks.

Re: Why Fiber Timing Gears

I was driving my son to school, engine braking coming down a hill and the cam gear stripped off 3/4 of the teeth. Not just one part but 3/4 of the entire gear. Had her towed home and replaced it with...

I just replaced my fiber gear with another fiber this spring. I only used the fiber because I had one. If I had to order one I would have used aluminum.

Re: What Years Had Oval Speedos?

Re: Why Fiber Timing Gears

Also the fiber is much quieter. The metal gears in 1929 were not quiet like the ones today. Plus remember your Ford if well taken care of would last you at least 5 years.
