That’s nothing, if anything dissimilar metal corrosion from the cap.


Drain it out, flush good with plain water. Fill with a quart of Blue Devil Radiator flush. Do a run to temp at least...

I thought they were originally 12-24 Screws for the 33-34 Pickup and passenger car. Ive seen a number of them modified for 1/4-20.

My 40 is still 6v Positive Ground, no problems.

I have a 32 and a Model T that’s 12v, but I’m a mechanic maintain my own cars.

Folks, I have a 1940 Deluxe coupe. The drivers side window has suddenly decided that it won’t roll down past the 1/2 way point. Previously worked fine.
