Terry, I had the local mill size doug fir on a taper from 4 in to 2 ins in 14 ft to fit in between the frame and a 3200 gal water tank on my water truck 30 years ago, its been through hell and back...

Its an odd set up alright but it works, this set up doesn't hold the drive axle up when going over a driveway or steep incline. I need to get more and better pictures.

Expell old tube, lock plunger back install new tube with plunger end open, remove pull tab end, put head on 1 to 2 turns release plunger then put head on the rest of the way, problem solved, at least...

I'm looking for an emblem and lower grill clip for a 40 barrel nose truck, any ideas where to look, pictured is the drives side I need the passenger side.

I had thought of the electric pump but was gonna hook it to the stomp starter so that it only ran when starting, but I'm just a little on the hard headed side, it worked fine till a few months ago,...

Not using the hydrostatic set up it had rotted and fell apart I have a short nipple sticking up from the old plate to draw fuel, I have a vented gas cap but I'll check it again, the lines are good...

It gives fits at about 5 days, I can crank it and it won't pickup fuel, battery is good, 6 volt, big cables spins like its 12 volt just won't pick up fuel, another truck a 40 cabover it looses fuel ...

Working on a 59AB its in a 34 1 1/2 truck, gas tank is under the seat.
If it sits for a few days it won't start,its not getting gas, the carb is empty, I have the fuel line looped above the fuel...

Pull the carb apart and check the jets, most likely have a piece of crud in one.
I believe the idle adjustment does adjust the air fuel mixture, counter clock wise does emmit more fuel in the idle...
