It's the 2 long bolts. Don't remove them from the starter as they hold it together. Also don't drop it on you. It's heavy.

The only problem I ever had with opening the windshield was when I was about 7 driving across Kansas with dad in his 29 Town Sedan when that wasp came in. Ouch.
