thanks l have a few of the car radios but it doesnt look like there is enough room for the cowl vent or possibly the wiper rack to work properly

I found the park light shape/position that you mentioned in Dad's old parts book. Thanks for the info! So, it's a 1946 but titled as a 1948...

Well, I don't have bore scope but I will look it over more tomorrow and maybe get more pictures. Other than taking the oil pan off, is there another way to determine if there's a counterbalanced...

I should add that I don't have the distributor for it as far as I know...we might find it in the garage but haven't yet.
