Yes, if you haave enough room. I drilled a hole in the center of the intake, put a 90 deg fitting on it and ran it to the dist. You could also put a spacer under the carb from an old gas heater....

Yes drill and tap a 1/8 NPT hole in the intake at a convenient place. Watch out for the exhaust heated areas.
