I was still having overheating problems even with a recored radiator and Skip's high flow pumps and thermostats.

I got an aluminum radiator from Brice Thomas and it works great.

41 Oil Filter Lines

Hi All

I have my original 41 flathead with the partial flow filter. The flexible lines were brittle and unuseable. I saved them thinking a hydraulic shop can just swage the old fittings onto new...

The 54 is prone to rust in the front crossmember where the A-arm attachment points are, get up under it for a good look. I always like that body style!

Its a lot of work, but I just welded the nuts to the studs and unscrewed the studs from the block since I was replacing them all anyway.

Love the 54! I've got mine with a fresh 292 in place of the 239 and fresh paint. But all that stainless trim to straighten and polish...I've gotta just do it and put it back together.
