Wanted 49 - 51

Need 49 - 51 fenders and hood, need front half, can have rot in wheel wells and hood can be bad in rear, also need grill opening, for a project, with a 86 Thunderbird.:cool:

In NY we had The Submaine Race Watchers, with Murry the K and his swinging sawraay, and going to the drive-in and see how many you could get in for free, in the trunk!! Good old days they were!!!!

Thanks guys, figured it out, will try puting it on soon, had to change the rear wheel cylinders today, might change the the rubber hose and line to the master next, will need to check the fronts...

Thanks JeffB2, I have done one on my 53 Merc, and 60 Chevy, they had swing pedals, having trouble with the truck with the pedal onto the floor.

Duel master

Any info will help, lost the instruction on the installation of a duel master cylinder for my 55 F100, have the kit, duel master, no booster, 2 diferent push rods, going to keep it all drum, reuse...

MM oil will work! And to keep them working under a load, put in a little holding tank, I made one out of a juice can a while back, it does work.

There is a small vaccum port for the distributor, it was on mine, it gives a very little vaccum to work the distributor, mine was clogged, very hard to know this, I finally put a rochester carb on...

I done my 53 a while back, take the gauge pod off, used the one wire at a time way for the gauges, changed it to 12 volt with a Fords under dash reducer ( NAPA has them, they were used on Ford trucks...

Flathead engine (50 or 51) I think, stuck cam or crank will not turn. Set of heads , 2 intake manifolds, flywheel and clutch, 53 Merc 2 barrel carb

55 F100 project

55 F100, good cab, no engine/trans or bed, frame is good rebuilt stock front end, 9 in, extra pair of front fenders, cragars, new wiring harness.

If you change the king pins, do it right, use the grease that is recomended, think, which ever ones you use, it will steer much better then then with the old ones!
