Re: Bratton's Tool Box

On the off-chance that someone is interested in one, and is near Grand Rapids, there is one for sale (local pickup only) on ebay for $250 (https://www.ebay.com/itm/155624005676).

Re: Dang, Grease on the Headliner

Folex works wonders, but from looking at that smear, I think I'd try the Folex after removing more of the stain first...if it were me, I'd try Dawn with very hot water and scrub a bit an old...

Re: Starting After Sitting

Did you drain all the fuel out of the carb before leaving it parked (i.e. turn off the shutoff valve and let the engine run until it dies)?
A lot of gunk can develop if there was fuel in there that...

Re: Added a 90-degree oil filter adapter today

Not to my knowledge; but then again - I just inherited whatever previous owners did; maybe someone who knows more than I do can chime in on what they see.

Re: Added a 90-degree oil filter adapter today

Re: Added a 90-degree oil filter adapter today

Re: Gas drip

When faced with the same issue, I used a 1/4-turn ball valve from Home Depot; been working great for a few years now. This replaced a previous solenoid-operated cutoff installed by a previous owner...
