i like that, but do not have the tooling for that. i'm not going crazy with this, just doing a mild port job to clean things up.

looking for a flathead shop in west central illinois, or east central iowa that does sonic testing, my local shop doesn't do it.

well, learned the hard war that all 49-53's didnt have valve seats. in my case intakes. took my block to a local machinist, and he said the 2 seats in the pix are not fixable, therefore, the block is...

1st, i would like to correct my info. it is the exhaust seats that came out easy, not the intakes. 2nd i am certain the intakes have no seats. as much work i have put into them and not even a budge....

does the front e-brake cable go thru the firewall. or the same opening as the steering column? also, just after where the wishbone connects, it runs thru a box, and the cable is hanging up on...
