I was still having overheating problems even with a recored radiator and Skip's high flow pumps and thermostats.
I got an aluminum radiator from Brice Thomas and it works great.

The 54 is prone to rust in the front crossmember where the A-arm attachment points are, get up under it for a good look. I always like that body style!

Love the 54! I've got mine with a fresh 292 in place of the 239 and fresh paint. But all that stainless trim to straighten and polish...I've gotta just do it and put it back together.
