If theirs is any question whether you your Radiator is up to the job add a shroud ,this is with original fan this can give you 15/20% more cooling ,a extra row of tubes in the core could do it also...

I agree with Cadillac also , if you pull the hand brake on and the pedal sets higher with one pump then its a adjustment problem.But likely a bit of both .Adjustment rod or mismatched MC or Air .

I see its a sedan you can do as suggested, it may come through the rear door ,the rod can take a little bending but not much ,a 35 wheel has straight spokes.you need a puller to remove it .loosen...

You would know this but the modern system when cold circulates the water around the block only, not through the Radiator as it warms up the thermostat opens and it starts to flow through the...

Ford thought there was a vacuum in the block with pump in heads, so placed the pumps in the block to push rather than suck in 1937,

You can cut into the housing to get a deeper wider cut ,use a wrench on it , V it out couple tacks later with welder ,

,The part with the 4 rivets could be also interchanged with Model A not hard to do ,its not a cylinder as such , pull the spring then drive the ends of the shoes and rods out .A small Chisel ...

Sound like the pumps are pumping some of it out the over flow ,so slowing the pump action can be a benefit in some cases .can be what the thermoses are doing

Just to add to Terry , if the cars temperature rises at the lights then do not use them.you need extra radiator capacity otherwise they will stay open .Ted

Thanks for the heads up News.I fabricated a puller a bit like the one here which has worked on light pushes, you use a drill shank because its hardened .When i restored my 35 in the 80s I fitted...

Pick up hinges ,Had a difficult time pressing these hinges out about 5 hrs so tried the fast way,by cutting deep .

I don't think they worried about the inside , but dipping makes the most sense ,as the tube needs to be rolled around to paint it . I have seen them coming down the line hanging , The steering lock...
