My Roadster was built in July 1930. It is vacuum wiper and looks like that is consistent with the chart.

Seems strange they went back and forth on the wiper design. Wish mine was electric.

My 30 deluxe roadster has a vacuum wiper mounted inside the car. I think the open cars all did until later in the 30's.

Besides the vacuum lines you have mentioned already you should see metal...

Also, check ground to from battery to frame to be sure it is a clean connection. Fuel and electrical issues can mimic each other. I have been there.....

Just a thought. Be sure your gas cap is venting properly. Sometimes the cork gasket around the inner rim covers the vent holes as they compress. I trimmed mine back a fair bit to clear the holes. I...

I have had decent luck sealing up entry points in buildings with pre-mixed concrete patch. Comes in small plastic containers at Home depot or most hardware stores. The critters will chew through most...

According to Fiken's wiper service these motors are made of pot metal and warp in the chamber area.This condition does not allow the paddle to make a good vacuum seal.

Sonic traps are next to useless. Set them up in my attic and came back to a major mice infestation. The only trap that works is a snap type trap or glue traps but the glue ones are quite inhumane...
