I was thinking of popping a fuel filter in there. I have one on my old motorcycle for this exact reason so that makes total sense.

Hey Tubman, the tank was removed, boiled and redcoated less than two years ago and all lines replaced inlcuding a new fuel pump. You right that it could be anything I guess.

In my 6v 37 i recently swapped out the original gene for a Powergen alternator and its fantastic. I also reconditioned the original gene as a fall back.

The spark plug wires are brand spanking new so I doubt there is an issue there. I have replaced or reconditioned practically everything on this car. Carb was re done and normally runs perfectly.
