I have 5 running flathead ford engines. Only one of them smokes. That one will have to be rebuilt. Maby top end only. One the 52 out of a convertable had a mercury head on one side.(driver side) ford...

4" better. Hope that it has one. heads are easy to find. Go with ford 52 or 53 better compression with 4" crank. The pic is a 29 the woman a 53 LOL

Stock A axle, speedway disk brakes, 48 spindles. I am not using the wheels that are shown. I will post new pictures. Also I changed the rear end to a 37 ford.

Hello Steve Is that with or without a gasket. One or two. It does seem odd that there is that much space. My dad use to use the gaskets (adding more for less fuel pressure) removing them for more...

I made sure that mine is sealed. With a new gasket also. Some solder also. I use silver solder on parts that are heavely stressed. The lower pan on My converted A to Flathead radiator Is silver...
