Hi,

Well when I pushed the the starter i suspect it was turning the gear...don’t think the starter was doing anything

Good day,

Got the car started today 1930 ford however ...it stopped attempts to restart a than just heard a grind noise when I press on the starter any ideas what’s going on?

Model A shifter 1930

Hello,

I am looking for a new shifter kit for my 1930 model A. My shifter is worn so I either am looking for a shifter kit to replace the parts in it or a complete shifter for the transmission....

Thank you for all the advice. I checked it with a snapon pressure gauge and turned the engine over with with the starter. Sounds like I am in for a treat, and some learning about engines more...

Alternators verses Generators for 6 Volt Systems

Can anyone share there experience changing a Generator to Alternator system. Pros and Cons of doing so, I would like to keep it the same however they say the alternator system is better?
