are '50 Merc and '50 Ford control arm seals the same?

I have a '50 Merc and a control arm shaft seal kit "labeled" for such, but I think its actually for a Ford. The seals appear to be way to small for the control arm shaft diameter, even if they are...

Ford 94 adjustable main jets - Yes or no?

Do Ford 94 adjustable main jets have some merit, or are they just a gimmick? I'm running 3x2's (redone by Charlie) on a 302 and think I'm running rich. My main carb has 53 main's with 7.5 PV, the...

Re: New to ford 94's and need some help...

Ok, so I have 55 jets and 7.5 power valve. I have not idea what the jets are on the middle carb (the aftermarket one) since they are not marked anywhere that I can see. They look to be the same size...

Re: New to ford 94's and need some help...

"Are you running straight or progressive linkage?"
Progressive linkage. Butterfly's appear to be about 2/3 open when the other two carbs kick in. They look damn near new inside so I know they've...

New to ford 94's and need some help...

I am in the process of learning as much as I can about these, but in the mean time I could use some expert advice. I recently bought a 50 Merc with a 74 302 with 3 2's and a mild cam. 2 of the carbs...
