Re: French V8-60

I also kept the pages from the Vedette shop manual that have to do with the engine. Will be glad to send you a copy if you end up working on the engine. All the specs are there.

Re: French V8-60

Bill, I have a lot of information on them and have a few parts left. The Simca version of the V8-60 has flat cylinder head combustion chamber areas and the block is relieved. The pistons are...

Re: second gear end!

Ich habe etwas tiefer gegraben nachdem ich verschiedene Mainshaft-Sorten nachgeforscht habe. Du hast, hoechtstwahrscheinlich, 51A-7061. Dieser Mainshaft gebraucht keine Thrustwasher auf dem...

Re: second gear end!

Re: Ot / tdc

That is how good the translator softwares are. "Alles Gute" means "all the best." You could say it for a birthday, too, but I don't know when his is.

Re: Engine in Matford Woodie

JM35, you are right. Until Ford sold out to Simca there were no significant changes in the engine. Even the last French Ford Vedettes, that looked like mini-'49s, used a basically unchanged 60...

Re: Engine in Matford Woodie

Re: Ford V8-60
