Wide five rear brake drums

Wanted rear brake drums with wide five bolt pattern 36 thru 39. Roller quality OK.
Can pick up within 125 mile radius of Chicago.

Well the rear end is a 28 29 worm drive from an AA. I have a hi lo trans and that rear one isn't it.

That looks like the remains of the spark plug washer to me. Have you tried to scrape it off???

F-1 steering sector

Looking for a decent Ford F-1 steering sector. Mine has some pretty bad pitting and I would like to replace it.

Love to see more pics of the engine area. There doesn't seem to be a fan so is there an auxiliary pump. Also the exhaust is intriguing. Why does number 4 only appear to have a muffler.

39 40 Deluxe coupe doors

Have an opportunity to buy a pair of 40 coupe doors. Will these work on a 39 Deluxe coupe. Not concerned about trim holes. The seller couldn't confidently say that they would. Just want an answer...

Yeah there's one in Roselle Illinois in March. Check with Marc Maron. It's indoor at a Ford dealership and features a lot of Model A parts. I always find something there.

That's how I do it but I do remove the shell so it doesn't bend. The hood has to come off but that's the simplest part of the whole thing.

Heat...lots of heat. Not propane. Oxy acetylene heat. It's the only thing that has ever worked for me.

You need to get that thing balanced at a machine shop. I sincerely doubt it can be. That's probably why it's not in an engine. I wouldn't use it.

The passenger door shown is correct for your cab. You need to find a drivers side that is a mirror image. There is no difference from AA doors and A doors. Some AA doors had an indent in the drivers...

Butt weld...carefully measure your replacement panels and get as tight a fit as you can. Minimize the gap. I use those little panel welding connectors Eastwood sells.
