ok thanks for replys, the headers i have are for a RHD car maybe they are slightly different?steering box/starter same side? will try and post pic, thanks GM will jack the engine.

reds headers

went to fit some reds headers today but could not quite get them in. only tried driver side so far. looks like i will need to jack up engine to get it in (prob 1/2" or so?), how far can you jack it?...

exactly that had to file out washer, clears end of splines, steering should be sharper now.

ok thanks, will remove and check splines are not protruding maybe the extra washer was binding but it was getting a little dark with my bad eye sight.

correct, no need to use origonal regulator, i fitted a powergen nearly 2 yrs ago no probs at all so far .

ive had a powergen for 18 months no problem so far, i think early ones were suspect. bought a pulley to suit the stock fan fits fine.

my 36 water level seems to like to stay at matrix level filling it higher it drops again does not overheat, no visible hose leaks or from rad overflow on stopping, no smoke from exhaust(head gasket?)...

hood rubbers

bought 36 hood rubber kit, what tool do you use to crimp the rivets supplied over, the old rubbers were pop-riveted, thanks.
