Re: 1931 Seat Frame
The late 31 pick-up riser was different than the earlier ones. I can measure it up and post the info later tonight.

Re: Why the insert fabric roof and not steel
The Late 31 pick-up was the first Ford will an all steel roof. Alot of it had to do with the roads and the flexability of the bodies. If you went all steel something would have to give. Cars such as...

You may want to install the sub-rails first before tackling the wheel wells. I can take some pictures of my coupe and post. The wheelwell portion that is sold is is just the flat piece of the...

Re: Metal Roof Insert
I agree with CHuDWah's interpretation of the evolution on the truck. The steel roof truck is basically the same as the earlier truck with the exception of the front roof and the steel bows. The seat...

Re: Body leading.
Body filler is only meant to smooth imperfections after the metal work is done. Plastic body filler will flex when used properly. If you need more than 1/8" thick (I prefer no more than 1/16"), then...

Re: disk brakes on a model a?
The simplest way to put dics brakes on a Model A is to change over to 37-48 spindles, which many disc brake kits are made for. To keep a more vintage look, adding 40-48 hydraulic brakes or F-1 brakes...
