I ordered 1/4" thick glass for the doors and quarter windows. Is it possible that I need 3/16" thick glass? Did Ford use 3/16" glass? Screw holes for the vent window panel seem to be off about a 1/16...

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if the interior sun visors for a 1948 super deluxe were originally cloth or vinyl and is anyone reupholstering the assist straps. Cartouche no longer does that.

Thanks for the info Bruce Mo. About 3/8" from the top edge of the door makes sense because the upper door seal on the body is about 3/8" wide. I don't have the clips like your '46 does because...

1948 sedan three transmission...the first and reverse lever on the side of the trans seems to have only 2 positions...is that correct? The 2nd and 3rd lever has 3 positions. Just rebuilt the trans....
