Re: Leaking waterpump 60hp
You have the "flat face" type of 60hp water pump. It appears to my untrained eye to be factory correct. The copper ring gasket, next to the threads, seals the pump to the timing cover, while the...

Re: Widowmaker
It is not just the fan, I had an original generator pulley break apart while the motor was running. The hood was up and the pulley struck my garage wall. Check your moving, rotating parts...

Re: 1940 ford 5 window coupe
My 40 Std. coupe is painted Folkstone Grey. In certain light, it looks very gray: in other light, it looks a tan/sand color. It kinda reminds of the color of T-birds in the 90's.

Re: Generator pulley casting
Please inspect your parts carefully before installation. While running my A in the garage, the pulley broke and sent the outer edge (like the one in the picture} into the sheet rock. Fortunately, I...

Re: 3/18/86
I have always understood that "Canadian" or the so called "Denver" heads were the "poor mans" dirt racing heads. Dirt racers would grind the casting or Ford ID numbers off, paint them green, and try...
