I put a new fuel pump on my 41 without putting the push rod in. Couldn't figure out why I wasn't gettin' gas. Duhh! Thing is I did it 2 different times.

Besides the usual odds and ends tools and garbage I found a $5 gold piece in my 35 coupe it was down under an old rubber floor mat.

My brother had the same problem some years ago. Couldn't find the leak until we took the starter off. And found a split in the engine block about 5 inches long. We used some type of silicone on it....
