The bad news came today, 2 cracks in the block :confused:. Oh well, on to plan 2 which is a '50 8BA to disassemble and get checked, I'm nothing if not stubborn.
I'd like to keep the look of the 59...

Several of you have recommended pressure testing, something I'm not familiar with. The car came with an AL radiator and higher pressure cap, how much higher I don't know but I drove the car 600-700...

JM 35 - Goes in a '48 Tudor.
Supereal - This is a factory relief. From what I've read, it was done to truck engines to help keep blocks from cracking in high stress usage.
