I have had one on my car for several years. It is smooth, more efficient in the first stage than a Zenith or Tillotson and when travelling up I-80 over the Sierra's the second stage gets me around...

When rebuilding a rear end MAGNA FLUX the axles. You can't always see a crack. The piece of mind is well worth the effort!!!

I have a '39 transmission AND a Mitchell Overdrive ( about 90,000 miles). It is a dream on the highway and a joy to drive here in the Sierra foothills of California. Smooth shifts and Lower engine...

Years ago when I bought an "A" that had no papers..... I told DMV that I built it from parts...CHP stamped it with a seal and was licensed as a 1970 Special Construction.
The fee was a 1970...

To pump fuel from the rear tank to the front tank, I used a regulator set at 2lbs on o zenith or tillotson.... I don't remember. We all had additional tanks on the World Tour.

That Sedan is a 160-A ( Standard Sedan ) it would be mfg about May or later. Standard Sedans had NO Cowl lights, the Dome light was ROUND and mounted in the middle over the back of the front seat....
