This is sort of "on the subject". Coating of bearings (and other parts as well) is very standard today. There are companies that coat bearings OR you can coat them yourself with the right equipment....

I used a pair of 65 289 exhaust manifolds. It is helpful if you can raise the engine about 1". The exhaust pipe will need to be only 1.5" in diameter. Or even better if you can oval shape the exhaust...

Spark Plug Heat Range Question
We are finally getting to assembling the flathead engine. What spark plug plug should I use? The heads take a 3/4" plug, 14MM, the compression ratio will be 9.35 to 1.
