Accessory water pump

I have a rare accessory Klondike water pump for your T. It looks to be a new part, although it appears to have a witness mark where one of the bolts go, so it could have been an immediate take-off....

When you reinstall the pan, after you put 4 or so bolts in it, I would turn the engine over (without ignition). Listen, in case baffling or anything, might be different and hit the pan as the crank...

Not to be devisive, but that "green oil" was good enough for the final drives on D9 Caterpillar tractors, so I figure it should handle a flathead transmissions. They did not have issues with it.

I would only paint the friction surfaces with the coating you use. Then I would assemble the spring and paint it as an assembly. Do not know that this is the best technique, however.
