Re: Fuel pressure regulator

I have the Holley low pressure regulator and it works fine MOST OF THE TIME. But, every so often I have to re-adjust that thing as it seems to have a mind of its own occasionally. Therefore, I...

Re: Aluminum head anti seize

I cannot state that this works because I have not had to remove a head, but it is what I've done with my heads, cast iron and aluminum, on two engines....

Re: Bonneville to wet again, bummer

Wow! Damn, I hope the folks who reserved at the hotels will be able to get refunds. Their policies on that suck.

Re: Chevy water pump on flathead

I had this set up on my '36 pickup for a while. It worked OK, but it placed the fan very low on the radiator and I had to use a smaller diameter fan to clear the lower outlets. That engine is an...

Re: back up camara

Has anyone done this sort of thing and tied it to your turn signal switch? When I re-do my '40 Sedan Delivery I thought about putting in such a system because lane changing in that thing is a real...

Re: Engine miss

Geez, Jim, seeing as how you followed me around in Austin a couple of months back when I had one plug loose with it missing intermittently, I would have thought you would have recognized a...

Re: Head lite adjusting

Wanting to adjust the headlites implies that you plan on driving at night! Are you nuts?!

Looks like I need to call Willie to get some supervision on site.

Re: pressure test 21 stud

I currently only have one 21 stud head for this prospective engine. I have a lead on another in the swapmeet section. So, 21 stud heads are a little more scarce than 24 types so I don't have any...

Kahuna, so good to hear from you. I've been so worried about you!

*inside joke*****

How am I going to spray soapy water around the valve seats to make sure there are no cracks? But, you gave...

pressure test 21 stud

Being lazy here and not digging out my pressure test equipment to see if it fits. So, are there enough common stud holes to get a good seal with a 24 stud pressure test block?

Re: 8rt Fan Blade Options?

I have a 6 blade on my '36 and I do not notice it being louder. Man, it moves the air. I cannot get my 8ba with 180* thermostats to run over 178*.

Re: Difference between 8ba and 59ab flywheel

Not sure, but if the starter is the problem, don't the small, aftermarket starters work with either?

Re: G. B. Kurrasch

Ron, Beech 18 has twin tails like B 25's and 24's. I think that is the Songbird. I can see Uncle Sky but not Penny's head.

Re: Looking for a cariature ~~

Sorry, Bill....

Re: Looking for a cariature ~~

Do a search for "Keep on Truckin' cartoon". Incidentally, this the guy I had on my flight helmet in the Navy.

Ronnie, from my research I guessed it to be from an Albatross. I would sure like to start that project, but many others are ahead of it now.

Re: belly tank

Ain't done it, but I measure the width of my 59A to be about 21". Exhaust would be stubs exiting below the frame and out through the skin. Lots of builds over on the HAMB and Landracing.com

Re: Lower radiator hose replacement 1935 Ford do I have to remove the radiator?

Just put the lowers on my '36. Major pain. I came at it from below and folded the hoses in the middle. Now I brought them in from a side to let each lip of the hose catch both bibs. Pushing and...

You're welcome. Just noticed that you are in Colorado. Be sure to tell whoever you get jets from your elevation.

I run a 48 in the middle with 2 blocked off 97's at the ends. Originally I had...
